Judith of Brittany was the daughter of Conan I, Duke of Brittany and the mother of Robert the Magnificent.
She was the first wife of Richard the Good, Duke of Normandy, whom she married in 996. They had six children:
1. Richard the Third, succeeded his father in the dukedom;
2. Robert, who succeeded his elder brother;
3. William, called William of Normandy, who became a monk in the Abbey of Fécamp, and died very young in 1025;
4. Alice, married to Renauld, earl of Burgundy;
5. Eleanor, to Baldwin, earl of Flanders;
The duchess Judith died in 1017 and was buried in the abbey of Bernay, which she had founded.
