Samuel married 2nd Jane Gragg born June 4th, 1835 in Morgan County, Ohio. They were married January 27, 1853 in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois. I ordered that certificate from the Illinois Archives. Sam died July 23, 1899 in Plymouth County, Iowa. He is buried in Lincoln Township Cemetery formerly Harrison Cemetery. Jane died September 13, 1913 in Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa. I never could find her death certificate, nor Sams, but both their full birthdates and death dates are listed on their headstones. Both are buried in Lincoln Cemetery, as well several of their children, including my gg-grandmother their oldest daughter Delilah.

Jane Gragg Dean was born in Morgan County, Ohio on June 4, 1835 to Minerva Dimmick and Thomas Gragg. She married Samuel Wesley Dean on January 27, 1853 at Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois. She was the mother of 10 children. An injury from a fall lead to her failing health and eventual death.
