Samantha Day Laughery is buried in Kings Cemetery, Milford, Crawford
Co., IA. She died at the age of 26 on 6 March 1876.

Samuel C. Laughery served in Company E of the 8th Iowa Cavalry during
the Civil War.

There is a John W. Laughery and his wife Lovenia buried in Shueyville
Cemetery, Johnson Co., IA. John died in 1936.
John is also shown as being married to Mary J. L. Stanchfield in 1872
in IA. Their last child, an unnamed female, was born in 1890. I am
guessing that Mary may have died in chidbirth and Lovenia was his
second wife.
