Notes for Francis Marion Laughery
Francis Marion Laughery, 95, died in his home one mile south of Shueyville at 9:30 am. Tuesday after a brief illness. Born May 15, 1850, at Pleasant View, Ill., he came to Iowa at the age of three and lived in the vicinity of Shueyville the last 92 years.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Sarah Kimm of St. Johns, Wash.; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted in the United Brethren church in Shueyville at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Lyle K. Anderson. Burial will be in Shueyville cemetery. Friends may call at the Brosh chapel.
