Birth & Parents: Rebecca Foote, was born about 1634. She was listed as about age 10 in the court records at the time of her father, Nathaniel's, death in 1644. [1][2] Rebecca's mother was the former Elizabeth Deming.

Rebecca’s mother, Elizabeth Welles, named her daughter Smith and her children, as beneficiaries in her 1678 will.[3]

Christening/Birth: 03 SEP 1634. Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut.[4] or 03 Sept 1634 Watertown, Massachusetts [4]

Marriage: Rebecca married twice:

Lieut. Philip Smith[5][6] Mar 1658 in Hadley, Hampshire, Massachusetts[citation needed] Smith was from Wethersfield and then after 1659 was in Hadley, Massachusetts.ref name=Goodwin> He was killed 10 Jan 1685 "murdered with a hideous witchcraft"[7]
Major Aaron Cooke in Hadley, Massachusetts 2 Oct 1688.[5][8]
Death: Rebecca Cooke, alias Smith, died at Hadley 6 April 1701, aged 67.[6]

Find a Grave claims she is buried at the Old Hadley Cemetery, which she may be, but is there documentation for this burial?
