He is the son of William Large and Rebecca Unknown. He was born in Hingham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. He married Elizabeth Simcocke in 1672-1673 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. They were Quakers. They had 14 known children. He was a Weaver. He died on 26 July 1709 in Bristol Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
