Interesting note. According to John James my grandmother Forney was a Crocker . Well known Cleveland family. When she married her husband, Charles D. Forney, born 7/29/1860, he was “just a sign painter” and the Crocker family disowned Charlotte. My mother was going to move in with her mother, Charlotte, after my dad died and she had moved back to Cleveland. On August 22, 1934 she was hit by a car while crossing the street. That was just a few months after my father’s death.
