Will of George Norman 1677.

In the name of God Amen. I George Norman of Ann Arundell in the Province of
Maryland, being sickin body but of sound and of a perfect memory thanks be
given to god for it and knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty of
this life and that at death I goe home and come no more, but believing that
through the merits of Jesus Christ I shall receive salvation and bee raised
through his loving kindness again at the last day and then through the mercy
of my maker and Redeemer my soule and body shall be united together and
raised into glory andbeing my duty bound to get my house in order do make my
last will and testament as follows:-

Imprimis—I do bequeath unto my son George all my land to be delivered to him
when he is full twenty-one years of age and all the rest of my personal
estate I give when my debts are satisfied to be equally devidedbetween my
children when they come to age, and I leave my loving wife my whole and sole
Executrix of all moveable and unmoveable until these my childrencometh to
age. In witness where to I hereto set my hand and seale this 13th of January
1675.
