Notes for Enoch Deen
8
There may be 2 Enoch Deens - one married to Elizabeth Creekmore and another married to Letticia Dunn.

Wives of Enoch Dean - Elizabeth Creekmore, Mary A Brookmyer and Letticia Mariah Dunn

An adult son is listed as living with Benjamin in Ben's pension application of 1818, we don’t know the identity of that son other than that
he was not Enos, James or Samuel because they were listed elsewhere. This leaves John and Enoch. John is given to us as the youngest son
by earlier genealogists.

Enoch received land from Benjamin in 1828.

Also a son listed in the 1820 Morgan County Census:
Benjamin Deen, over the age of 46, is living with a wife over the age of 46 and 1 adult son over the age of 16.

Enoch Deen also listed in the 1825 Tax List, Page 281

In Morgan County.

According to Darlene’s research he sold the last of his holdings in Ohio in 1841 and relocated to Indiana where he started a second family with Luttecia Dunn. Eventually he settled in Iowa in 1860 leaving all his possessions to his son Thomas.

This second marriage records Enoch Deen born in Maryland on August 8, 1798 and married to Letticia Mariah Dunn in Indiana, in about 1839, they had 5 or 6 children together. Letticia was born on Sept 8, 1811 and died Dec 9, 1891 in Iowa. Possible that this was another Enoch Dean.
